Do "Nice Guys Finish Last" Always?

It seems that in this world, we always see the "bad guys" winning all the time; and what makes it worse is that, it seems to happen to most of us whenever we look around us! The punk dating the best looking girl in school, the guy who scammed a customer just gained lots of money for his spending, or the sneaky classmate who cheated to get a higher mark than those who actually studied hard, the list can go on forever. But, does that mean we have to be mean or bad to be first?
